Building package on Ubuntu (for vivid) [issue]

Israel-28
Hi all,
sorry I have been so busy and have been rather absent.
I am trying to package 1.1.1 for the next Ubuntu release.
I am coming up with errors related to Monstro.

I looked at the code, and it may simply be a typo, I only looked
briefly.  I found calcSlope1 is called but I could only find the
implementation of calcSlope.
Has this issue been discovered already, or am I missing something simple
here?

diiz
Should already be fixed in the stable-1.1 branch.

Great, is this only for 1.1.0 then?
I updated via a watch file

version=3
opts="filenamemangle=s/(?:.*)?v?(\d[\d\.]*)\.tar\.gz/lmms-$1.tar.gz/" \
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/tags/ (?:.*/)?v?(\d[\d\.]*)\.tar\.gz

So, it looks for v tags and downloads that and merges the code...  Will
there be a new version you put out to fix this?
I wanted to try to avoid mistakenly using unreleased versions...
will uscan ing github for new releases cause issues, should I change to
scanning lmms.io instead to get the proper release?

Tres Finocchiaro

Sorry, forgot to reply all.

If you'd like to use 1.1.1, we can easily bump to 1.1.2 when we're ready.  I started the 1.1.1 release process, but the build failed due to the reason you mentioned above.  When it was fixed a new bug had arrived that I thought would be worth waiting for...

I'm not sure when the next patch release will be available, but the outstanding bugs that we're waiting for are #1642 #1449

We also have quite a few reports of VST instruments distorting on the new FX mixer, but that hasn't been easy to reproduce. :)

*Correction, just #1642.  #1449 was a typo for #1499 and that's not a show stopper by any means.
